A 32 year old female presented to clinic suffering from a four week onset of headaches, likely related to long hours at a computer for work and poor posture. Pain was felt along the back of the head with associated muscle tightness in the shoulders and stiffness in the neck. Pain medication and massage had provided no relief.
A 42 year old male presented with a two day onset of right sided neck pain, first noticed on waking and likely related to sleeping position. He described a sharp pinching pain with certain neck movements and had taken two days off work. Massage, heat and pain medication gave only temporary relief.
A 21 year old male presented with a one week onset of left sided pain around the shoulder blade, beginning after a gym training session. He described a persistent "knot," some restricted neck movement, pain on deep breaths, and an occasional strange sensation down the left arm. A massage had made it worse.
A 53 year old male truck driver presented with a two month history of persistent nerve pain down the back of the left leg, without lower back pain. He struggled to bear weight while walking and couldn't sit for long periods. Stretching, pain killers and rest had not resolved it.
